The Association holds two Advisory Meetings each year — on the third Saturday in April and the third Saturday in September.
The New South Wales Justices Association Incorporated, as required by law, holds an Annual General Meeting on the last Saturday of November each year. These meetings are for the purpose of making changes to the Constitution, presentation of the annual financial statements, and the State President's Report. The results of the biennial ballot for Directors are declared every odd calendar year.
The AGM features a notable guest speaker.
The first ever Conference for Justices of the Peace in New South Wales was organized by the NSW Justices Association in the year of the Olympics — the year 2000. Since that first conference, at the Burwood RSL Club, the conference is now generally held in the Sydney metropolitan area every second year and in a country venue in alternate years.
This conference is a must for all JPs in New South Wales.
